Getting Involved

As a coach for Southern Mariners Little League Baseball:

• I will be on time for all practices and games.
• I will refrain from the use of alcohol prior to any game or practice.
• I will refrain from the use of tobacco during practice or games.
• I will be as fair as possible in giving playing time to all players.
• I will do my best to teach the fundamentals of the game.
• I will set reasonable expectations for each player and for the season.
• I will teach players the values of winning and losing.
• I will be open to ideas or help.
• I will never swear or yell at any member of my team, the opposing team, umpires, or fans. Any confrontation will be handled in a quiet, respectful, and individual manner.
• I will always remember I am coaching children in a game that is supposed to be fun.
